Salman Khan was arrested and charged with rash and negligent driving when his car ran over some people sleeping on the footpath in Mumbai in 2002.
One person died and few injured. A lower court found him guilty, but when he appealed in the Bombay High Court, he was acquitted of all charges in 2015. At this time the case is pending in the Supreme Court.
He faced seven days Jail term in Jodhpur in 1998 for Blackduck hunting and Arms Act violation case when he and his colleagues of “Hum saath saath hain” movie were roaming in the jungle and killed an endangered antelope.
Later Rajasthan High Court acquitted him of all the charges in 2016.
